Feldspar, General Description

  • Geological - Feldspar is an igneous rock and one of the four basic minerals that make up granite. Granite forms the core of most mountain ranges. All Feldspars contain aluminum and a large percentage of silica and oxygen. Also present are either calcium, potassium, sodium or some combination of these elements.
  • Origin - All over the world.
