- Geological - This is a green variety of Beryl, which is composed of Al2Be3(Si6O18) and has a hardness of 7.5-8. It is usually cloudy because of inclusions. It occurs close to pegmatite veins. This stone is beautifully characterized by colors of green, white, and black.
