Copper, "Splash" Oxidized

  • Geological - Native copper is melted to a molten state at 2200º F & poured into trays filled with water & straw. When the chunks are cooled, a green/turquoise patina is applied. Then the upper areas are buffed to expose the glowing copper. Then the chunks are sprayed to preserve the copper from tarnishing.
