- Geological - Composed of hydrated Sodium, Calcium, Barium, Strontium, and Silicate Hydroxide Fluoride. Charoite is purple with unique pattern of swirls, feathers, needles. It may contain patches of black (Aegerine), orange (Tinaksite) & iridescent-transparent crystals (Microline Feldspar). Hardness of 2.5-5.
- Origin - Yakutia, Russia.
