Chalcedony, Blue
- Geological - Chalcedony is a mixture of Quartz and Moganite. One of Chalcedony's most endearing characteristics is it's tendency to form botryoidal (grape-like) structures that manifest internally as "turtle-backing" or sometimes externally as "bubble-top" surfaces although this can vary layer to layer or piece to piece. Botryoidal adds a splendid new dimension to a stone. Botryoidal activity visible through the polished top a cabachon Cut stone provides extra optical vigor beyond color and clarity.
- Origin - Turkey, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka, Uruguay, USA.
- Mystic Lore - Helps accept new situations and overcome resistance. Bestows inner calm, relaxation.
