Bloodstone (Heliotrope)
- Geological - Dark green variety of chalcedony/quartz with red spotty inclusions (hence the name), this stone is classified as a chalcedony consisting of SiO2 . This stone has a hardness of 6.5-7. Colors are not always constant.
- Origin - India, Australia, Brazil, China, USA.
