- Geological - Apatite (calcium phosphate) is a clear to opaque stone that comes in many colors, including green, yellow, blue, violet, and yellow-green. Some apatite stones show a cat's eye. Greek word for "deceit," because it was easily confused with other minerals. Hardness of 5, & can be brittle.
- Origin - Brazil, Burma, Madagascar, Sri Lanka, India, Mexico, Greenland, Canada, USA.
- Mystic Lore - Uplifting energy. Stabilizes, helps combat listlessness after over-exertion. Promotes independence and ambitiousness.
